I am a recently retired, Ontario Certified Teacher with 26 years of elementary teaching experience in the York Region District School Board. I am also a proud parent, a resident of Aurora for almost 15 years and have lived in York Region for more than 40 years.

I am a fierce advocate for public education and I see my role as Trustee as an extension of this.

I aim to bring the needs of the students and community to the forefront of board decision making and to maintain clear, approachable and transparent communication with the community.
